If he hadn’t had one of the most famous wine bistros of Paris, what would Jacques Mélac have done? Director of a great circus, or of a theatre company, comic artist.
This moustached man has an innate talent for communicating, for improvising great events.
The proof, despite a grey, overcast sky, his last wine-picking still brought about a hundred people on the 8th September into the road Léon Frot.

His vine Baco uprooted in 1977 from his father’s garden in Bozouls and replanted in the cellar in his bistro, not only gave him the most beautiful sign, but also gave him the opportunity to create an event that had nothing artificial because it was a real grape picking in the centre of Paris, that of “Chateau Charonne”.
