Winepicking
and wine festivals in Paris
The winepicking at Château Charonne, 11th district of Paris 1/2
If
he hadn’t had one of the most famous wine bistros
of Paris, what would Jacques Mélac have done?
Director of a great circus, or of a theatre company,
comic artist.
This moustached man has an innate talent for communicating, for improvising
great events.
The proof, despite a grey, overcast sky, his last wine-picking still
brought about a hundred people on the 8th September into the road Léon
Frot.
His vine Baco uprooted in 1977 from his father’s
garden in Bozouls and replanted in the cellar in his bistro, not
only gave him the most beautiful sign, but also gave him the opportunity
to create an event that had nothing artificial because it was a
real grape picking in the centre of Paris, that of “Chateau
Charonne”.
